•Experience with Cisco, Juniper and VMWare networking and virtualization platforms
•Strong understanding of Routing and Switching Protocols including OSPF, BGP, LACP, STP, VTP, VLAN Trunking
•Experience working in large routed environments with extensive external connections provided by Inter-vendor IPSec and MPLS VPN
•Experience working with VMWare virtual networking including VMWare DVS or Nexus 1000v
•Experience with Linux system administration and common unix services
•Experience with system monitoring tools such as Nagios XI, Cacti, Zabbix and Graphite
•Experience with centralized authentication systems including RADIUS, TACACS, and 2 factor authentication systems Experience working in copper and fiber cabling plants
•Ability to coach and mentor employees, providing career and professional guidance
•The successful candidate will have a high proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, VMWare and Linux technologies, having implemented them in large organizations previously
•Computer science or Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience
•Cisco network certification at professional level or higher preferred
•7+ years of network administration experience
•Experience working in enterprise style networks in both an operational and project role
